Businesses, large and small throughout the valley, are signing up to compete in the “30-Days of Giving” Business Challenge, to see who can raise the most money for the Bitter Root Humane Association (BRHA), during the month of November.
What type of “fundraiser” businesses host is totally up to them…it may be as simple as a donation jar, merchandise raffles, holding a one-time event or a month long promotion. Basically, any fun thing they can think of! Shoppers will be able to identify a participating “challenger” where they see the colorful “30-Days of Giving” Business Challenge poster and check often on the Bitter Root Humane Association Face book page for new challengers as they sign up.

All proceeds from the “Challenge” will be used to care for all the homeless pets that come through our doors throughout the coming year!
For you or that special someone….a professional photo session for people and their pets!
As a fundraiser for the Bitter Root Humane Association, all creatures great & small are welcome along with their humans, to a photo shoot with renowned Bitterroot photographers Barb Garten, Robin Dewey & Chad Hillman.
Each shoot setting will include three (3) edited images and one (1) printed 8×10 photograph for a minimum donation of $100 to the Bitter Root Humane Association.

Feeling lucky? One of these beautiful quilts could be yours! The members of The Bitterroot Bunch Quilters, presented BRHA with these two beautiful quilts to be used as a raffle fundraiser. The quilts, one “dog” and one “cat” themed, took the group over a year to complete! The quilts are on display at the shelter and will be displayed at our off site events – tickets are just $2 each or 3 for $5 and the drawing will be held on Saturday, December 11th…need not be present to win!

Our dream of a new shelter has become a reality and our new doors are open! Although we are still settling in and learning new routines, our “guests” are hoping you will come visit soon.
