A PLACE TO REFLECT - New BRHA Pet Memorial Park
The Bitter Root Humane Association is beginning planning for a new Pet Memorial Park. It will be located south of the horse corral and east of our Road Department neighbor. The design has not been finalized but will include gravel, large boulders, cement statues, wind chimes and pathways made of memorial bricks to honor loved and lost pets. It will be appropriately fenced for privacy and quiet contemplation.
Memorial bricks can be purchased for $125.00 each and the vast majority of that is considered a donation to BRHA. You order your brick(s) through BRHA, we will order the bricks which will be sent to us, stored and installed when the pathways have been created.
This is a wonderful way to remember your pets while benefitting the lives of our guests who will soon become members of another loving family.

This May and June, team up with our local Murdoch’s, 1189 S. 1st St., to support Bitter Root Humane Association! At checkout, ROUND UP your purchase to help make a difference in the lives of our shelter pets. We thank Murdoch’s for their continued support of Bitter Root Humane Association!
Farmer's Market
Look for us every other Wednesday starting June 11 at the O’Hara Commons Farmers Markets from 4 – 6 pm, 111 S. 4th St., Hamilton. We’ll have all sorts of information, items for sale, and even a dog or two!
Brew Them Home
Our friends at Big Creek Coffee in Hamilton have crafted a special Costa Rica Tarrazu coffee for this project, where $5 from the purchase of each bag goes directly to us to support our mission.
The back of each bag features a photo of a currently adoptable pet (as of this writing).

Our dream of a new shelter has become a reality and our new doors are open! Although we are still settling in and learning new routines, our “guests” are hoping you will come visit soon.
