Please keep the animal safe at your home until the shelter is open, if possible.  Call the shelter and leave a message giving details of the animal you found including date found, location, type of animal, description, etc. along with your contact information.  The BRHA provides a lost and found database and may know who is looking for the animal. We also have a community-driven Facebook page you can post on to let others know:  Bitter Root Animal Lost & Found.  Bring the animal in as soon as the shelter is open so we can scan them for a microchip and we can keep the animal at the shelter, if you choose, until the owner is found.
